Thoughts of you, Rain or Shine

Here is the second card that we completed at the Alpha Gamma Delta Alumnae Chapter meeting.  We stamped the umbrella, handle and sentiment directly onto the card.  Then we punched a flower in Daffodil Delight and added a jewel.  Thank you to Stampin' Success for the inspiration for such a great make and take card!

Paper: Whisper White, Daffodil Delight

Stampin' Success Flower Card

When I saw the current issue of Stampin' Success (the magazine mailed monthly to Stampin' Up! demonstrators), I just had to try the technique shared by demonstrator Kerry Schwenneker.  The flower is made by using the 1 3/8" circle punch and Designer Series Paper.  I love how each flower looks different, just by using different sides of the same paper!  The sentiment "friend" comes from the stamp set Fabulous Phrases.  This was so fun and easy to create; I can see myself making more of these in the future.
