Teapot Challenge

Stampers are such wonderful people.  I posted on Splitcoaststampers requesting cards to be sent to Colton Dean, a local 5th grader battling osteosarcoma.  A wonderful stamper who runs a weekly challenge, picked up the story and is featuring Colton in this week's challenge.  This means Colton could get between 30 and 50 more cards from all over the country!  Here is the link to the Teapot Challenge and here is my card I made to play along.

Card number 2 from Stamp Camp was just as fun!  We used the Big Shot and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit to create the strawberry.  The green topper was made using the 5 Petal Flower punch and the branch from the Two Step Bird punch.  The {thanks} is from the Summer Mini stamp set Pretty Postage and punched with the coordinating Postage Stamp punch.  Add a bit of Real Red ribbon and a Whisper White flower from the Boho Blossoms punch with a gold brad and you've got a lovely thank you card for the Strawberry Festival.

Strawberry Time

This week is Strawberry Festival in Sunny Buck, which means rain all week!  However, to celebrate we made two strawberry cards at Stamp Camp this weekend.  The first used the strawberry from the Tart and Tangy stamp set.  I loved seeing how Stamp Campers took my basic idea and made their own creative variations!

Happy National School Nurse Day!

In honor of National School Nurse Day, I made this little nurse owl.  I was inspired by Sherry Hostetter's owl on Stampin' Up!'s Stampin' Connection page.  This little guy turned out so cute!  Thanks, nurses, for all that you do!

Happy Birthday

I made this simple card for my dad's birthday.  Happy Birthday, Dad!  I used Night of Navy ink and cardstock, along with Bashful Blue ribbon and card stock.

Happy Mother's Day

For this special card made for Mother's Day, I used the Flower Fest stamp set from the new Summer Mini Catalog.  I also used the fun embossing powders in Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi and Tangerine Tango.

Chocolate Cards

My daughter's class was in charge of putting together a basket to be raffled off at the school's talent show.  They voted on a chocolate-themed basket.  We used the Eat Chocolate stamp set and Chocolate Chip cardstock, ink and ribbon to make these cards as our contribution to the basket.

Mommy and Me Stamp Class

These are the two cards we made at the Mommy and Me Stamp Class in April.  The ponies were all customized according to the kids, using the different stamps from the Pony Party stamp set.  The colors don't show up very well in the picture.  The Easter spinner card was a big hit; there's just something FUN about making spinner cards!

Teacher Appreciation Week

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week.  A wonderful friend and co-worker of mine (hopefully soon to be a demonstrator, too!) helped make these cards and bookmarks for the teachers at our school.
