Happy Birthday cards for Operation Write Home

This is the second of 3 cards we will be making for Operation Write Home.  This card uses the stamp set from this year's Sale-a-bration event, Elementary Elegance.  I also used some retired DSP from this past year's holiday mini catalog, Spice Cake.

Thanks to SU! demonstrator Julie Davison for the inspiration for this card.

Happy Easter Everybunny!

I have been playing with the Everybunny stamp set to prepare for Easter.  This set of cards was inspired by SU! demonstrator Heidi Boos and uses the recent Sale-a-bration paper.

Fresh Vintage Birthday

To coordinate with the candy dispenser, I made this card using the Fresh Vintage stamp set from the Sale-a-bration promotion.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from a Sale-a-bration set, Elementary Elegance.  As it is my latest favorite stamp set, I will be sorry to see it go when Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st.  For this card, I used the In Color Stampin' Write Markers in Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.

Treat Dispenser Box

Inspired by the template found here, I knew I wanted to make one of these for a friend's birthday.  They will be perfect for dispensing some peanut butter M and M's!  I didn't have any for the picture, and they probably would have been eaten if I had bought them before hand, so I picked some up on the way to deliver the present.  The designer series paper is from the Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment.  Only one more week to get your's!  Sale-a-bration ends March 31st!

Good Luck Clover

This card used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Sprinkled Expressions to create the 4 leaf clover.  I also used the L from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set to stamp the sentiment.  Only 8 days remain of this year's Sale-a-bration event.  Click here to shop online, or contact me to place your order.  You don't want to miss out on your chance to earn free stamps!

*Thanks to SU! demonstrator Lauren Mullarkey for the inspiration for this card.

Framelits Blessing

For this card, I used the Labels Framelits to cut some Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper.  The sentiment comes from the Blessings from Heaven stamp set.  The ribbon is another feature of Sale-a-bration; it's a wonderfully thin and shiny Organdy ribbon and works well straight across a card like this.   I cut off the bottom of the card front and attached a piece of Lace Ribbon Border punch.

God has blessed me time and time again.  I have so many blessings in my life, I could send this card to many of you!  I may have to make multiples of it!  Thank you, God!

Hello on Groundhog Day

Happy Groundhog Day!  What's your prediction, early spring or 6 more weeks of winter?
This card is ready for spring!  I used the Elementary Elegance stamp set, one of the great free products you can get through Sale-a-bration, along with some Twitterpated Designer Series paper, found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.  I added a strip of cardstock punched with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border and a couple of brads to finish it off.

Celebrate with Blossom Bouquet

What's your latest reason for celebration?  A birthday?  A retirement?  Keeping a resolution through the first month of 2012?  Whatever the reason, here is the perfect card to help you celebrate.

I started with a card base of Pool Party and added a layer of Calypso Coral that had been embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.  I stamped the "celebrate" from the Sale-a-bration stamp set Outlined Occasions in Pool Party and attached the ribbon, which comes from the Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment Ribbon and Brad Pack.  Next, I used the Scallop Trim Border and Scallop Trim Corner for the Lucky Limeade cardstock and layered a piece of Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper on top.  I punched four Very Vanilla squares using the Postage Stamp Punch, and four flowers using the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch.  Finally, I used Everyday Enchantment brads for the center of the flowers.

New Year, New Mini Catalog

Happy New Year!  I think it's fitting that the first post of this new year is a sneak peak at a card using new products from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  Products won't be available for customers from this catalog until January 4th (just a few more days to wait!), but as a demonstrator, I get the perk of ordering the products early.  There are some wonderful new stamps and other things, and I think you are going to LOVE the new products as much as I do.  I've put together a few sneak peeks to lead up to the kick-off of the new catalog.  Also, some of the cards feature Sale-a-bration items, which won't be available until January 24th.  Sale-a-bration is a great time to host a workshop or buy products; for every $50 you spend, you get to select a free product.

This card features one of the new stamp sets, Mixed Bunch, and coordinating punches, Blossom.  The ribbon, Designer Series Paper and the sentiment "Thanks" are stamped from Sale-a-bration products.  Of course, I couldn't stop with just one card playing with this set, so I made several other samples.  Notice the extra large pearls on some of them?  Which card is your favorite?
