Summer Smooches Sneak Peek and Pulley Card

Yes, I am sad that Sale-a-bration is almost at an end and we will have to say goodbye to some great stamp sets and beautiful Designer Series Paper.  But of course, Stampin' Up! has good things in store right around the corner!  Beginning April 1st, you will be able to order a special new suite of products called Summer Smooches.  New stamps, paper, brads, and an oh-so-cute die for the Big Shot.....I'm getting ahead of myself.

Today's sneak peek features the new DSP and the Bright Blossoms stamp set on an oh-so-fun pulley card!  I played with it repeatedly after creating it because it is such a fun card.  As you can see, one gentle tug of the ribbon pulls out two sides of the card.

Check back on April 1st when customers can get their orders in for these great products.  Can't wait?  Sign up as a demonstrator and you, too, can pre-order the newest products.  I would love to expand my already great team of demonstrators!

Fresh Vintage Birthday

To coordinate with the candy dispenser, I made this card using the Fresh Vintage stamp set from the Sale-a-bration promotion.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from a Sale-a-bration set, Elementary Elegance.  As it is my latest favorite stamp set, I will be sorry to see it go when Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st.  For this card, I used the In Color Stampin' Write Markers in Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.

Treat Dispenser Box

Inspired by the template found here, I knew I wanted to make one of these for a friend's birthday.  They will be perfect for dispensing some peanut butter M and M's!  I didn't have any for the picture, and they probably would have been eaten if I had bought them before hand, so I picked some up on the way to deliver the present.  The designer series paper is from the Sale-a-bration Everyday Enchantment.  Only one more week to get your's!  Sale-a-bration ends March 31st!

Good Luck Clover

This card used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Sprinkled Expressions to create the 4 leaf clover.  I also used the L from the Occasions Alphabet stamp set to stamp the sentiment.  Only 8 days remain of this year's Sale-a-bration event.  Click here to shop online, or contact me to place your order.  You don't want to miss out on your chance to earn free stamps!

*Thanks to SU! demonstrator Lauren Mullarkey for the inspiration for this card.

Crimped Mixed Bunch

I love the simplicity of this card; it was so easy to make, yet uses the crimping tool to make a big impact.  I used Wisteria Wonder and Pool Party inks and papers, along with the Sale-a-bration stamp set Outlined Occasions.  I adjusted the color using the auto correct feature on my computer program, so I think it makes the Wisteria Wonder appear a bit darker than it is in real life.

Thank you to Julie Davison for the inspiration for this card!

Sweet Shop birthday

I made this card for a very dear friend of mine whose birthday is tomorrow.  It uses the Designer Series Paper Specialty Sweet Shop and some of the Pool Party ruffled ribbon, which is so easy to work with.

Thank you to Ashley Marostica for the inspiration for this card!

Hello Kitty

Inspired by a card seen at regionals, I recreated this cute little Hello Kitty card.  So many punches used on this card!  Butterfly, circle, oval, square, border and tag punches!  There's a little girl at school this card is going to...after she had quite a scary ordeal last week!

Tea Shoppe for you

While trying to come up with ideas for my swaps for Regionals, I played around with this design.  I used the Big Shot for the Top Note and stamped the large tea cup from the Tea Shoppe stamp set.  I inked the edges using Marina Mist.  I punched the flower using the Mixed Bunch flower punch and embossed it with polka dots.  I stamped the Just for You and punched using the Word Window Punch, layered onto a piece of Marina Mist punched with the Modern Label punch.  I stamped some flowers using tone-on-tone Wild Wasabi.  I layered the entire card onto Whisper White.  Ultimately, I decided this was too much to try and repeat 50 times for swaps!

Sympathy Card

For this card, I layered Very Vanilla on top of Very Vanilla using dimensionals.  I punched a circle in the top layer and added a stamped circle inside.  I used the butterfly from the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set and the sentiment from the Blessings from Heaven stamp set.

Regional Make and Take 2

This is the second make-and-take project we completed at Regionals.  There are so many things I like about this card...the leaf (stamped with a kite!), the polka-dot petals (also stamped with a kite!), and all the dimensions layered on that flower!  Not to mention the sweet little bit of ribbon, the button with baker's twine, the scalloped border, and the outlined stitches (done with a white Uniball pen).

Regional Make and Take

At the regional event in Columbus, OH, we got to complete two make-and-takes.  It was so fun to sit and share with the other demonstrators at our table, and isn't that part of the stamping fun?  This is the first one we made.  The wheel actually spins, so different stamped kites float through the window.  Love it!

Final swap samples

Although I swapped for many more cards, my favorite ones I may case!  So be looking for those in the near future.  In the meantime, here are the last of the samples I'm going to share.
