Everybunny Easter

My darling daughter made the above card for me for Easter and was thrilled when I told her I wanted to CASE it.  Didn't she do a great job?!  She gave her approval when I showed her my version and asked if I was going to put it on the blog so it would get lots of comments.  So, leave her some comments and I will make sure she reads them!  ;)

Stamps:  Everybunny
Ink:  Pool Party, Stazon black, Blender Pen and various ink pads for coloring rabbit
Paper:  Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade (I believe she used Certainly Celery and Very Vanilla)
Other:  Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Pearls, Scallop Border Punch, Modern Label Punch, Cloudy Day Embossing Folder

Everybunny Easter

Here is a shout out to a new customer...Hello, Sharon!  This card is for you!

I actually made two versions of this card--the first using basic materials, and the second with a few extras added in.

For both cards, I stamped the bunny in the balloon in Staz-on ink, since I planned on coloring him.  Staz-on ink is permanent, and won't smear when you color over top of it.  On the first card, I colored directly with the Stampin' Write Markers.  I stamped the sentiment directly onto the Whisper White cardstock.  I cut two pieces of Lucky Limeade cardstock and used lots of snips to create the grass look.

On the second card, I used a blender pen and my ink pads to color the bunny and egg-balloon.  Then, I carefully cut out the balloon, using an Xacto knife in between the strings of the balloon.  Despite my care, I still cut one off!  No problem, I simply made a little strip of paper and colored it in black, then adhered it to the back of the balloon.

I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White and punched it out with the Modern Label Punch.  I used a sponge dauber to lightly color the edges.  Next, I embossed the Whisper White background with the Cloudy Day embossing folder, and cut two grassy hills from the Floral District Designer Series Paper.  I punched the flowers using one of the punches from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack and added Pearls on top.  I added dimensions behind the flowers, the second hill, behind the balloon, and behind the "Happy Easter."

Stamps:  Everybunny
Inks:  Staz-on Black (101406), Stampin' Write Markers In Colors, or Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Coral Calypso, More Mustard

Paper:  Pool Party, Whisper White, Lucky Limeade or Floral District DSP
Other:  blender pen, Cloudy Day Embossing Folder, Itty Bitty Punch Pack, Modern Label, dimensionals, Pearls

Sorry about the quality of the pictures! I may try to retake them, but I wanted to get this posted ASAP!  :)

Christmas No Peeking

I love our Stampin' Up! team meetings.  No matter how much I know about stamping, there is so much more to learn and at our team meetings we are always trying out new techniques and products.  For this particular card, we used the Color Spritzer tool with the Stampin' Write markers.  It is a fun and easy technique; looks like the Color Spritzer will be on my next order!

If you want to join this awesome team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators for just $99, click here to join today, or contact me with questions.

Thanks to team member Jennifer Greenman for helping us make this card!

Fresh Vintage Birthday

To coordinate with the candy dispenser, I made this card using the Fresh Vintage stamp set from the Sale-a-bration promotion.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is also from a Sale-a-bration set, Elementary Elegance.  As it is my latest favorite stamp set, I will be sorry to see it go when Sale-a-bration ends on March 31st.  For this card, I used the In Color Stampin' Write Markers in Island Indigo, Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade and Pool Party.

Conversation Candies

At a workshop this weekend, I got to catch up with some old co-workers of mine.  It was great company...and we had fun stamping!  This card uses the Conversation Candies stamp available in the Occasions Mini catalog.  We used Old Olive, Real Red, Chocolate Chip and Bashful Blue markers to color the rubber; then we stamped the image.  The workshop attendees learned how to use the Scallop Trim Border punch and I also demonstrated a little ribbon trick used on this card.  We also used a dimensional to pop up the Bashful Blue heart which says, "Love You."  Thanks for a great workshop, Ann!
