Another card made with the Printed Petals stamp set. I love these springtime colors-Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo. I don't think the picture shows just how pretty they actually are. I already have someone in mind to give this card to. :)

Printed Petals
I knew I had to have this stamp set the minute I saw it--Printed Petals. My favorite stamp from the set is the largest flower with the printed flowers on it. LOVE IT! I made several cards with this set today; here's the first. The ribbon is from the Ice Cream Parlor Ribbon and Button pack you can get with the Sale-a-bration--free product with any $50 purchase. I also used the Tiny Tags stamp set for the "4 you," and punched it out with the coordinating jewelry tag punch.

Statement of the Heart
I wanted to make a card to thank my hostesses for having workshops. I used the Statement of the Heart stamp and the Bold Blossom set from the Occasions Mini catalog. I've had some great workshops--thanks to some great hostesses!

Team Meeting with Kathy
In addition to being on a wonderful team under my upline, Beth Ann Wilson, I'm also on her upline's team, Kathy Hamrick. I am having so much fun meeting other Stampin' Up! demonstrators, seeing their creative ideas, and learning new techniques. After this meeting, I'm more certain than ever that for my birthday next month I will be buying myself the Big Shot as a present! Love that demonstrators will get an additional discount during our birthday month!
These are two cards that we made at our meeting. The first one uses a set from the Occasions Mini, Clearly for You. The picture is a little dark, but I think you can see the Gold Glow Smootch Spritz. I love the little bit of added sparkle. The second card is made using stamp sets from the Sale-a-bration promotion, Sweet Summer and So Happy for You. The Sweet Summer set is now on my wish list too!

Rose made with Owl Punch
When I stumbled onto this idea, I was thoroughly intrigued. How do you make a rose with the Owl Punch? It was easier than I thought. Video and directions are posted here. I am more in love than ever with this punch--owls, ghosts, tulips, pigs, penguins and now roses from the same punch!
Cardstock: Real Red, Very Vanilla and Old Olive
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Owl Punch
Build a Blossom stamp set and Blossom Petals Punch for the leaves
1 1/4" Circle Punch
2 3/8" Scallop Punch
I used my ATG tape gun for the adhesive as I was too impatient to wait for glue to dry. :)

Flu and Valentines
Wow, nothing like a flu bug to knock a person down for a while. I'm feeling slightly more human this morning, so maybe the end is in sight. Let's hope!
I managed to make some simple Valentine's for the teachers at school before the bug really hit. Some of you will get a sneak peak at them on here before you get it in person! And I've managed to put together a heart person Valentine for my daughter's class. She says she likes them, we just have to get them made by Monday! I CASE'd the idea from a woman in my team meeting. She included a stick of gum or candy bar inside her card, which I would have loved to do, but no candy in school!
