Retiring Accessories--While Supplies Last, And New Ink Pads

This message contains LOTS of information!

First, Stampin' Up! announced the retiring accessories and decor items list today.  Remember, these are only available as supplies last, so get your order in ASAP!  Click here to shop the retiring accessories now.  Or, read on, and the link to shop will be provided again at the bottom of this message.  Among the list of retiring items are 12 x 12 cardstocks in a variety of colors, Stampin' Write markers, and classic and craft ink pads and refills.

Second, for the new catalog coming out June 1st, SU! released the following information:
  • Only select Stampin' Write Markers will be available individually (Stampin' Write Markers in color collections will continue to be offered)
  • 12" x 12" Textured Card Stock will no longer be offered
  • 12" x 12" Smooth Card Stock will only be available in select individual colors and color collections

  • Next, the Classic Ink Pads, which are currently made from felt, will be replaced with Firm Foam Stampin' Pads.  The new pads will:

  • Provide better ink coverage for your stamps
  • Light-tap stamping produces flawless images
  • Pad stays juicier for longer resulting in better ink pad longevity

  • In addition, our new Stampin' Pads
    • Have a crisply printed, glossy label on the top of the pad that is easier to read and that will not fade or chip off!
    • Come with color name labels in all four languages (English, Spanish, French, and German)-just choose your language, peel it off the back, and add it to the side of the pad for easy identification!
    • Use the same patented flip-top case design that stores the inking surface upside down, so the pad surface stays moist!
    • Are available in all colors, including our exclusive In Colors!
With the exception of 5 colors that had to be reformulated, the new ink refills will still work on the old Classic Stampin' Pads, but it is not recommended to use the old ink refills on the new firm foam pads.

These five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These colors are
    • Basic Black
    • Basic Gray
    • Marina Mist
    • Perfect Plum
    • Tempting Turquoise
    * The new ink formula for Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, and Tempting Turquoise (for both Stampin' Ink Refills and firm foam Classic Stampin' Pads) will not be available until June 1. In addition, the Neutrals, Subtles, and Brights ink color collections will not contain the newly formulated ink for Basic Gray, Perfect Plum, and Tempting Turquoise until June 1.

Let me know if you have any questions.  In the meantime, shop on here!

    Easter Cross

This card was inspired by one I saw at SU! Regionals in Ohio.  I love how the lattice die can be cut into the cross.  May God bless you this Easter, and always.

    Happy Easter Everybunny!

I have been playing with the Everybunny stamp set to prepare for Easter.  This set of cards was inspired by SU! demonstrator Heidi Boos and uses the recent Sale-a-bration paper.

    Easter Basket Stripes Weave

Like the look of the gingham or basket weave for this card?  It is surprisingly simple to recreate.  Using a brayer, cover the inside of the front of the Stripes embossing folder with ink.  Run with your cardstock through the Big Shot, then repeat the steps.  Be sure to turn your paper and carefully line it up the way you want it before embossing again.  Ta-da!  Instant gingham patterned and embossed paper!

    Easter Bunny in Garden

When I saw a similar card to this, I immediately wanted to CAS (copy and share) it.  It is just so cute!  Lots of punches were used on this card.  Happy early Easter!
