Rock and Roll Technique

These cards use the rock-n-roll technique.  Using a flower stamp Mixed Bunch stamp set, I first inked the entire surface with the lighter color.  Then, using a contrasting darker color, I gently "rocked and rolled" the outside of the stamp on a darker ink pad.  For the center, I used a blender pen to remove the lighter ink color, and then a marker in the darker color to fill in the middle.

Stamp sets:  Mixed Bunch, Just Believe, With All My Heart (retired)
Inks and Card Stocks:  Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight/Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight/ Pink Pirouette and Perfect Plum/Certainly Celery and Tempting Turquoise; Leaves are either Lucky Limeade or Certainly Celery
Other:  Blossom Punch, Blossom Petal Builder Punch, Finial Press and Lacy Brocade Embossing folders, 3/8" Ruffled Ribbon in Lucky Limeaide, 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon in Certainly Celery, Polka Dot Grograin Ribbon in Melon Mambo (retired)

Thanks to SU! demonstrator Jen Sannes for the inspiration for this card!
